Vehicle Inspection

Before your vehicle's return date, visit our dealership for a complimentary, but required, vehicle inspection. This inspection takes approximately 30 minutes, and can be done at our Service Center.

A certified inspector will provide an assessment copy of chargeable wear-and-use (if any), along with a Notice of Option to make repairs prior to return. If excess wear, and use, is discovered during your inspection, you have the option to repair your vehicle before returning. You may want to consult with your insurance agent to determine what is more beneficial.

Should your vehicle's condition change prior to its return due to repairs or additional damage, another inspection will be necessary. To schedule your re-inspection, please call our service center.

Owner Loyalty Offers

NMAC wants to make it easy for you to buy or lease another Nissan. That's why we reward our current customers with incentives to purchase or lease a new Nissan.

We'll waive wear and use charges. When you lease or purchase a new Nissan, we will waive up to $500 of excess wear-and-use liability on your current NMAC lease. See form below for details.

Offer good from 120 days prior to or 30 days after customer's termination of lease. The registered owner's name of the currently leased Nissan must be the same as the registered owner of the new Nissan or held in joint ownership. Customer must satisfy all obligations to NMAC in accordance with their current lease agreement. The excess-wear-and-use waiver does not apply to excess mileage fees. Contact us for details.

Keep Your Nissan

If you purchase your vehicle, you can avoid excess mileage, wear, and use charges. You will not be responsible for any costs other than the predetermined purchase option price and the incidental charges stated in your Nissan lease contract or required by law. These may include sales tax, vehicle registration, a purchase option fee, etc. Certain state and local laws may require you to pay a smog or safety inspection fee, etc.

Return Your Nissan

If you decide to return your Nissan, we'll make the process as easy as possible.

1. Before your vehicle's return date, contact the Alliance Inspection Management Center (AIM) at 800.253.9026 or visit https://selfschedule.aiminspect.com to schedule a complimentary, but required, vehicle inspection.
This inspection takes approximately 30 minutes, and can be done at Don Franklin Nissan, your home, or your place of business. It will be performed using a laptop computer, and the results will be printed immediately after the inspection. The inspector will review the report with you and address your questions. You will be given a copy of the condition report. A second copy will be left in your vehicle, and should remain in the vehicle until the time of return. Should your vehicle's condition change prior to its return due to repairs or additional damage, another inspection will be necessary. 2. Prior to your lease maturity date, call us for an appointment to return your vehicle.

3. Complete a Federal Odometer/Lease Termination Statement at Don Franklin Nissan.

4. Sign and date the Vehicle Condition Report, which will be completed by Don Franklin Nissan. This report compares the current condition of your vehicle to that of the original inspection report to ensure that nothing has changed.

5. Call the Nissan Lease Customer Network to report the return of the vehicle to an authorized Nissan Dealer or call us to report the return of the vehicle to Don Franklin Nissan.
